On march the 15th we went to Canberra for camp, it was so much fun, my favourite activity was rock climbing because I really love climbing !! The activities that we went to were: The art museum, the electoral centre , the parliament house, rock climbing, the zoo, questacon, war memorial and much much more! Something else what I really liked was the free fall, it really didn’t look like it was scary but when I went on it, it was fun!
Earn & learn is a part of our work because we learn how to be adults and we use money to buy foods, clothing, furniture, and holidays. My favourite part about earn & learn is when we get to have our very own shops, what I don’t like about earn & learn is when it gets really busy and when I have to do a lot of stuff.
Last night we performed our senior school grade five/six production! We were very nervous but excited at the same time. I knew the audience was going to enjoy our show because we had been practising for 2 months.
My favourite songs was “Eye of The Tiger”, “I Love Rock & Roll and “We’re Not Gonna Take It”. I am really proud of Jamie and Miss Goudie because they have been coaching us really well with our dance moves and songs.
At the end I was really exhausted and tired of all of that work that everyone had done. I felt really proud of myself for participating and trying really hard and same with my mum!
Today we went to the market place to see cost of living, and one thing a learnt was that, slow music encourages you to slow down, take your time, and shop longer. And the most expensive items were at eye level.
